I finished work at 6pm-ish, done a couple of hours overtime. I cant wait to leave where I currently work. I just dont enjoy it anymore, to be honest, I dont think I ever enjoyed it. I just sit at my desk and dream of being a Florist, and actually, technically I am. I managed to pass my first year of my Floristry qualification with a Distinction Gold Star pass, which means that I got 10/10 on every unit - smart much :) I've decided to carry on and do the next level of Floristry. Currently I'm on Level 3 of a potential 7... I wont every level, one after the other, as just even the work load from level 2 to level 3 is a massive adjustment, but I do want to get to the highest place I can with it.
So, I got home, had some dinner and sat down to make my blog (ta-dah!!!).
I'm now currently in the process of researching some wedding flowers for a client who I'm meeting up with tomorrow after work. She was a guest at a wedding that I did the flowers for back in April this year. She got my details from the bride,and asked me to do her wedding flowers. Its such a compliment to be asked to do the wedding flowers from someone who liked what she'd seen. Of course I said yes!! I spoke to her on the phone and she sounds lovely. We're meeting up in London and I'm trying to get everything ready so that at least I try and look kind of professional and ready for this!! I've never done a wedding of this size before - and I'm excited by the challenge! Below are some of the piccys that match what shes after :) it's based on a dusk pink theme... although the colours may not be right on the top picture, I think it makes a great statement as a table centre-piece :)
